Psychology Honors Program

The Psychology Honors Program (PHP) is designed to provide honors-level work in the psychology major. The University Honors Program (UNHP) has an interdisciplinary emphasis, but includes work in psychology. Because each program has its own emphasis, students who qualify are encouraged to take advantage of both programs. For more information on the PHP, click on the links below.

Completion of the Psychology Honors Program

When you have completed 15 hours of Honors work in Psychology, including the Senior Thesis (or are about to graduate and are about to complete the honors work), you must submit a PHP Completion Form  listing all of your psychology honors courses. This form should be submitted to the Honors Coordinator, Dr. William Zachry, one month before you plan to graduate. Your transcript will then show the designation 'With Honors in Psychology'.
