I-O Training Options

Students who wish to receive graduate training in I-O Psychology at the University of Memphis can choose to:

• Apply to the Masters of Science in General Psychology (MSGP) program and pursue a Terminal Masters with a concentration in IOA Psychology.
• Apply to the M.S.-Ph.D. program in Experimental Psychology and receive training in IOA Psychology to the doctoral level.

We currently have 25 graduate students who are either already part of the doctoral program or are coming in this year (you can see a list of them and our faculty at their respective links). According to a recent national survey, published by TIP, of graduate students in I-O doctoral programs, The University of Memphis' I-O program ranked 15th in the nation. We are devoted to educating our students, as well as finding placements for them to gain actual I-O work experience while in school.
